Ceremony for 2019 Monsoon Tree- Planting of MOEE was held at Substation No.2, Naypyitaw, on 5thJuly , 2019 in the morning (8:30 a.m). It was attended by U Kyaw Tint Swe,  Union Minister of office of State counselor, Dr.Tun Naing, Deputy Minister for MOEE, Departmental Heads and responsible persons.

Opening ceremony of Engineers Refresher Course (1/2019) for Engineers from MOEE was held on 1st July in 2019, (09:00) am at Yadana hall , Office (27).

The Ministry of Electricity and Energy held a meeting with representatives of the public and organizations from different areas to discuss and elicit suggestions related to amending the rates of electricity consumption to a more suitable rate. This is aimed to support the long-term development of electric production and distribution through expansion projects, connecting non-electrified regions to the main power grid or an alternative energy source, continuously improving electric production, and increasing work processes.

H.E. Dr. Tun Naing, Deputy Minister for Electricity and Energy accompanied by responsible persons from YESC inspected 66/11-6.6 kV (2 x 30) MVA GIS Hluttaw Substation in Dagon township on 7th June, 2019. Deputy Minister instructed to be in circuit with On Load Top Changer for 2 Nos. of 66/11-6.6 KV (2 x 30) MVA transformers in Hluttaw Substation, to be installed the covers for Cable Tray, to be controlled from the Control Center by SCADA system in the future and to assign operations and maintenances duty.

On 1st June, Dr. Tun Naing, Deputy Minister for Ministry of Electricity and Energy, accompanied by Permanent Secretary U Tin Maung Oo and officials from Department of Power Transmission and System Control and Electricity Supply Enterprise arrived at 56.1 kWP Mini Grid Solar Plant that is being implemented by Rural Development Department from Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation in Dee Doke Village, Satpyarkyin Tract, Meiktila Township, Meiktila District.
